BERLIN, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has gone into quarantine on Wednesday after one of his bodyguards was infected with COVID-19, said the German Foreign Office.

Maas' first test for COVID-19 was negative on Wednesday, said the office. ■
